Aremy Stewart is a visual artist and painter. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist, and was encouraged in this by her parents. Growing up in the country in rural Minnesota allowed for lots of time spent running free outdoors, and Aremy’s fascination with the natural world, especially birds, and science started then. Today her pieces often explore the strange magic that occurs when the natural world meets the human.

After graduating college with a degree in Fine Arts, Aremy moved to Europe in 2011 with her husband and newborn daughter. For 5 years she exhibited art In Scotland and the Netherlands, and her work appeared in publications like Juno, Taproot Magazine, and Offbeat Mama.

Aremy now lives in Portland, OR where she continues to paint and exhibit original art. She and her partner have 3 small children and live in a house with a hobbit door.
